Spiced Orange Roasted Chicken
Few days ago I tried a new recipe of roasted chicken taken from Taste.com.au.
It's a nice recipe. Senang dan rasanya sedap. I made mushroom gravy from the roasted chicken's dripping fat and ate it along with cassava(ubi kayu) hash brown (beli frozen from Tesco) dan juga salad romaine.
Utk resepi ayam panggang yg saya ubahsuai sikit dari resepi asal:
1 ekor ayam (potong 4)
1/3 cawan jus oren segar
1/3 cawan madu
2 sudu besar minyak zaitun
4 ulas bawang putih (resepi asal guna 2ulas, sy tambahkan lagi sbb saya suka bwg putih)
3 sudu kecil ketumbar biji (resepi asal guna serbuk ketumbar, saya xde serbuk ketumbar, jadi guna biji aje)
1 sudu kecil serbuk jintan manis
1 sudu kecil kunyit
1 biji oren, di potong bulat nipis
1. Tumbuk bawang putih dan biji ketumbar sederhana halus.
2.Perapkan semua bahan2 dengan ayam (kecuali hirisan oren). Saya perap waktu pagi dan masak utk dinner. Boleh juga perap semalaman.
3. Letakkan ayam dalam roasting pan dan susun hirisan oren atas ayam. Bakar pada suhu 180C selama 45 minit.
Utk mushroom gravy:
Tuangkan lebihan minyak/lemak yg ada pada roasting pan ke dalam periuk. Bancuh 1 sudu kecil tepung jagung dgn sedikit air dan kacau supaya menjadi paste. Panaskan minyak tadi dan masukkan bancuhan tepung jagung. Kacau supaya tak berketul2. Masukkan susu rendah lemak sedikit demi sedikit sehingga mendapat kepekatan yg disukai. Masukkan cendawan butang yg dihiris nipis dan serbuk lada hitam, juga garam secukup rasa.
Utk salad:
Not much in the making. Just guna salad romaine, timun jepun, capsicum merah, jus limau nipis dan gajus. Just mix everything and you have your salad :)
