Roti Parmesan/Oregano ala Subway

Suka makan kat Subway? Oh, saya suka but it's quite pricey dan tahu je lah kalau makan sekeluarga, koman2 sure RM50 ke atas terbang walaupun hanya utk hidangan sandwich.

Apa yg saya suka ttg sandwich Subway adalah rotinya segar gebu. Lepas tu boleh pilih nak roti jenis apa,  filling apa, sos apa.

Dan kebiasaan mokcik juga, bila dah sedap makan sesuatu tu mesti nak cuba buat sendiri. Mujur la skrg ni zaman internet, google saja Insyaallah akan ketemu la maklumat yg dicari.

So mokcik jumpa resepi roti ala Subway dari SINI.

Seperti biasa, mokcik ubahsuai resepi ikut apa yg dapat mokcik cari. Mana yg takde tu mokcik abaikan saja, contoh vital wheat gluten tu...apa kebendanya pon mokcik x tau. Soybean oil pon mokcik ganti ngan minyak canola. Belasah saja!

Ingredients

Directions:

  1. 1
Dissolve yeast and sugar in 1/2 cup warm water. Let stand for about nine to ten minutes.
  2. 2
Combine yeast mixture with oil, salt, and two cups of flour. Stir well.
  3. 3
Gradually stir in 4 cups of flour and remaining water.
  4. 4
Knead for 10 minutes, adding additional flour as needed.
  5. 5
Place dough in a lightly-greased bowl.
  6. 6
Cover with plastic wrap and let rise for about one hour.
  7. 7
Punch dough down and divide into eight pieces.
  8. 8
Roll each half into loaf-shapes, about twelve inches long.
  9. 9
Place loaves onto two large baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  10. 10
Cover the eight loaves and allow to rise for about an hour.
  11. 11
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  12. 12
Cook for 25 minutes, or until the top of the loaves are golden brown.
  13. 13
Let the bread cool until room temperature.
  14. 14
For a delicious oat take on the Subway white bread, sprinkle the tops of the loaves with quick-cooking oats after brushing on the egg white mixture.
  15. 15
Adapt this recipe to prepare Subway's Honey & Oats bread by adding 1/2 cup of old fashioned oats to the bread dough before rising.
  16. 16
If you prefer a hands-off approach, you can mix all of the ingredients in a bread machine and cook on a light setting according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  17. 17
Add a bit more flavor by sprinkling a mixture of shredded cheddar cheese, garlic salt, and Italian seasoning over the dough before baking.
  18. 18
Recreate Subway's Parmesan Oregano bread by mixing together Parmesan cheese, oregano, and garlic salt and sprinkling it over the unbaked dough.
  19. 19
You can also make two loaves of bread from this recipe instead of eight individual sub rolls

Mokcik x pandai nak agak panjang doh yg sepatutntya, jadi mokcik buat je la ikut kata hati. Turned out, rotinya mmg pendek2, bulat2 gitu...hehehe. Dah jadi mcm roti sosej pulak.

Mokcik ada buat stew kekacang so cicah roti ni dgn stew kekacang pon sedap!!!

Cuba buat sandwich ala2 Subway with leftover roasted chicken, sliced cheese, salad dan tomato. Dan isi banyak2 pon x boleh sbb roti pendek. Lenkali akan cuba buat roti yg panjang sikit. Tapi roti home-made yg freshly baked mmg sedap sungguh rasanya!
